Driver’s Assistance
Our goal is to financially assist youth in Foster Care, including in-home trial return, Extended Foster Care, Tribal Jurisdiction or Indian Child Welfare programs by eliminating barriers from obtaining a driver’s license or auto insurance coverage.
Treehouse Driver’s Assistance Program will provide funding for the following:
Washington state ID
Instructional/learner’s permit
Driver’s education & testing
Driver’s license
Auto insurance

The Upward Bound Program support students ages 13-19 in pursuing and completing post-secondary education, not limited to WCC.
“Whatcom Community College’s Upward Bound program is a federal TRIO program funded by the U.S. Department of Education, and is designed to encourage, and support 60 students in Whatcom County to complete high school, and prepare them to enter, and complete a postsecondary education program. The program serves students at Ferndale, Nooksack, and Mount Baker high schools.”
